About

A development partner, not a vendor

Adhanam Infotech builds custom software from Chennai and London. Most of our work is with companies who have tried the alternatives — an agency that disappeared after launch, or a platform that almost fits.

How we work

The difference between a vendor and a partner shows up in the second year. A vendor delivers what the contract said. A partner tells you when the contract is describing the wrong thing.

We work in two-week iterations with a named team you can talk to directly. You see the board and the repository. When an estimate is going wrong you hear about it in the standing call, while there is still time to change the plan — not in a report at the end.

We will also tell you when the answer is not to build. Configuring something that already exists, or fixing a process before automating it, is often the cheaper route. Saying so costs us a project and earns the next three.

Two offices

Chennai and London

The offset is the point. Work moves while your office is closed, and there is still a real window each day for the conversations that cannot happen over email.

Delivery window

Chennai runs 4h 30m ahead of London — so your build moves overnight, with 4h 30m of shared hours to talk it through.

How a project runs

  1. Scope

We start with a short paid discovery: what you need built, what it has to integrate with, and what "done" looks like. You get a written scope and a fixed estimate before any code exists.

  2. Shape the team

We assemble a named team and introduce them. You know who is working on your system and you talk to them directly, not through an account manager.

  3. Build in the open

Two-week iterations, a working build at the end of each one, and a standing call in your morning. Your team can see the board and the repository throughout.

  4. Run it

Most clients keep us on after launch for maintenance, on-call and continued development. Handover to your own team is equally fine — the documentation is written for that from day one.

Tell us what you are building

A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are a good fit. If we are not, we will normally know someone who is.
